Teflon® PTFE
PTFE(Polytetrafluoroethylene) 코팅은 일반적으로 two-coat(초도/상도) 방식이다. 이 제품은 불소수지 중에서 사용 온도가 가장 높으며(290℃/550℉), 마찰 계수가 극히 작고. 내마모성 및 내화학성이 뛰어나다. PTEE코팅은 주로 수성제품이다.
Teflon® FEP
FEP(Fluorinated ethylene propylene copoly-mer) 코팅은 소결 과정에서 유동성을 지닌 물질로 변하여 무공질의 필름을 형성한다 이러한 FEP코팅은 우수한 내화학성, 내부식성, 매우 낮은 마찰계수, 뛰어난 비점착성을 갖는다. 최고 사용 온도는 205℃/400℉이며 수성제품 또한 분말 형태로 공급된다
Teflon® PFA
PFA(Perfluoroalkoxy) 코팅은 FEP와 같이 무공질의 필름을 형성한다. PEA의 또 다른 장점은 연속 사용 한계온도가 높고(260℃/500℉), 필름 두께를 1,000㎛이상 올릴 수 있으며, PTEE나 FEP보다 우수한 내구성을 가진다. 이러한 특성들로 해서 PFA는 사용 용도가 매우 광범위하며 특히 내화학성이 필요한 부분에 많이 사용된다. PFA 제품은 수성 혹은 분말 형태로 공급된다.
Teflon® ETFE
ETFE는 Ethylene와 Tetrafluoroethylene의 공중합체이며 Tefzel®이라는 상표로 판매된다. ETFE는 완전히 불화되지는 않았지만 내화학성이 우수하며 연속 사용 온도는 150℃/300℉이다. 이 수지는 불소수지 중 강도가 가장 높으며 2,500㎛까지 두께를 올릴 수 있으며 내구성이 뛰어나다. ETFE는 분말 형태로 공급된다.
Teflon-S® FOne coat
이 제품은 주로 유성제품이며 불소수지의 기타 고성능 수지를 특수 혼합하여 제조함으로써 강도와 내마모성이 향상되었다. 소결 과정에서 코팅은 층 분리가 이루어져 불소수지의 특성(낮은 마찰 계수와 비점착성)이 유지되면서 고성능 수지가 갖고있는 접착력과 내모마성을 제공한다 또한 샌딩처리가 안된 소재에도 적용이 가능하다. 코팅 종류에 따라서 소결 온도는 165℃~315℉까지 가능하다.
